A critical question is whether there is a window after the immediate perinatal period where we can modulate the epigenome and improve neurodevelopmental outcomes.

We are using multiome approaches. to investigate whether the immediate changes we see in different cell types are also present in juvenile and adult animals. Persistent changes will be prime targets for future pre-clinical therapeutic trials.
