8/2022: It has been a great first summer in the lab! Several people updates! Isabella Sobejano & Bianca Rodriguez also joined the lab as Penn undergrads. We have also been excited to welcome Ethan Gadra as a technician now (after a successful senior thesis stint last year). Also thrilled to have welcome Preeti Chauhan as a post-doctoral fellow. Everyone has been learning a lot of new techniques are building a strong lab foundation!
7/1/2022: Lab officially opens!!!
6/2022 - update: Happy to welcome Caroline Dannacher, a rising sophomore at Penn, to the lab this week! Ana is having fun remembering everything that has changed (and stayed the same) since starting to work in labs at around the same time in college.
6/2022: In preparing for the official lab opening, Ana had the privilege to attend and present at 2 conferences this spring: Keystone Symposium on Single Cell Biology (Florence, Italy) and the 13th Hershey Conference on Developmental Brain Injury (outside Seattle, WA). Gelato and hiking were immensely enjoyed, and inspired to get the lab open and off to work!
